Yes, it is! Our ceramics and paints are tested to strict UK/EU safety standards, including EN71 for child safety and BS 6748 for food use. Just be sure not to paint the rim or the inside of the mug, as noted in our instructions. The ceramics are pre-fired and home-oven baking won’t affect their safety when used as directed. No need to preheat! To avoid cracking, set your oven to 150°C (300°F), immediately place your painted ceramics inside, and let it bake for 30 minutes. Ensure the paint is completely dry beforehand—usually about 30 minutes air-drying. This method protects your ceramic’s design for long-lasting vibrancy after multiple uses and washes.
To keep your pieces looking its best and lasting longer, always hand-wash it—skip the dishwasher to prevent the paint from fading. After washing, make sure to dry it right away to avoid any water marks. Also, remember, your painted pieces aren't microwave-safe and needs a gentle touch due to its fragile nature. 💦

What a great kit! Bought this for my little boy to paint a mug for his Daddy for Father's day. Packaged really nicely, comes with everything you need, mugs, paintbrushes and paints, instructions too. My son absolutely loved painting it, and his Daddy was super happy with his mug. Admittedly it's not the cheapest, but it makes for such a good sentimental gift!
Great packaging great instructions awesome for kids. My paint was perfectly useable- a lot of comments said theirs were dried up but that was not my experience at all. Very easy process and the paint is definitely special ceramic paint it dries beautifully it looks apart of the mug rather than drying on top of the mug and cracking. Great product worth the money will buy again
