All components included in the kit have been tested to ensure compliance with relevant US safety standards. All art materials conform to ASTM D-4236. Additionally, our kits have been reviewed by an independent toxicologist and carry clear warning labels and safety instructions to protect users where applicable; you'll see this labelling on every kit. For safest use, we recommend keeping your creations away from food, drink, excessive water and rain. Avoid swallowing clay or inhaling dust and never sand dry clay. Use a little water while working to minimise dust. Handle hot wax with care to avoid burns, and use protective items such as oven gloves or tea towels. Never leave a naked flame unattended, and always keep flames away from children, pets and flammable materials. Avoid contact with eyes, and rinse immediately with plenty of clean water if exposed. Also wash your hands and wipe surfaces with warm, soapy water after use. While the kit has been designed with adults in mind, we know that getting creative together can be a fun way for families to spend quality time. For added peace of mind, the kit has been toy safety tested and is suitable for children aged 8 years and above when used under adult supervision. Our Super Clay can be stored for up to 9 months, but to keep it in tip-top shape, make sure it’s sealed in its bag and stored in a cool place. We’re not talking about a room with funky lights and a disco ball, but somewhere with lower temperatures. Once you've received your kit, you’ve got a good 3/4 of a year to use all that lovely clay!
