Yes, it is! Our ceramics and paints are tested to strict UK/EU safety standards, including EN71 for child safety and BS 6748 for food use. Just be sure not to paint the rim or the inside of the mug, as noted in our instructions. The ceramics are pre-fired and home-oven baking won’t affect their safety when used as directed. Have more questions? We’re happy to help!

Our Super Clay can be stored for up to 9 months, but to keep it in tip-top shape, make sure it’s sealed in its bag and stored in a cool place. We’re not talking about a room with funky lights and a disco ball, but somewhere with lower temperatures. Once you've received your kit, you’ve got a good 3/4 of a year to use all that lovely clay!
